An Under the Sea Garden Heterotopia in Celebration of the Feminine

The significance of this body of work is in the juxtaposition of several different and opposing artistic philosophies.  The relationship between Formalism and Wabi-Sabi are at odds with each other.  Sensism bridges these philosophies and helps create a personal ideology specific to my artistic voice.  I have created an installation of decorated space that addresses notions of beauty in a transformative experiential presentation.  This Under the Sea Garden Heterotopia is influenced by nature, water, pastimes of women, in celebration of the feminine. It is intended that the viewer be drawn into a happy and joyful experience by their sensory reaction to stimuli from the installed art work and transform them emotionally.    It is intended that it be a joyful and happy experience that reflects my interests and influences of nature and water with color and decoration.
